Workshop Description:

This workshop will cover aspects of inhabiting the forgotten territories of the body through martial philosophy embedded in Baguazhang Martial Arts. The work will draw from the concept of Cuerpo:Territorio, or body as territory coined by indigenous women of Latin America, as a platform to understand how to find equilibrium within the body through the vortex of the pelvis in relation to the Earth and Cosmos. This two hour workshop includes a facilitated theory and practice session. The training centers BIPOC participant’s and will provide tools for connection, focus, alignment, and self-healing.
